Good Afternoon,
With all the construction taking place for the parkway more wildlife to include rats are coming into the neighborhoods. They will probably come as a natural thing but many residents are putting trash out in bags days before trash pickup day. Trash will only attract the wildlife, especially rats. We also have reports of residents throwing out food in their yards and behind their gates which will also attract wildlife. There is a wildlife refuge off Dewey's Run that is a natural habitat for all kinds of animals so trash along with construction will bring them onto the Southbridge streets.
